This gig saw our biggest crowd yet, with over a hundred people trying to jam into a room that holds about sixty. Steve Smart was the guest host. EZB wore a cowboy hat and told us all about Aussie culcha. Joelistics, of Melbourne hip-hop favourites TZU, gave us an a capella rap set, and we were privileged to get an early preview of several tracks from TZU’s Computer Love album, several weeks before it was released. Geoff Lemon hooked onto the feature bill with stories about wasted ravers and his misspent youth, and The Bedroom Philosopher took us home with a half-hour set of his musical comedy blend. This set is yet to be successfully posted. But we’re working on it.
